Well, I bet there was close to a 1000 people in our little town for the school sale. Things sold way to high. They had schools from all over buying things up. All I wanted was a wooden teacher desk. Not sure if it was the one I had when I first taught school here. Didn't matter. But I was bidding against 5 other "old" teachers that wanted one also. A box of crayons sold for $35.00. I not sure if it was the 36 or 64 box. The bus barn sold for $30,000.00. The High school sold for $180,000.00. A used flute sold for $350.00. Hell, you can buy a new flute for that. Needless to say, I came home and was depressed because I didn't buy anything for the memories that I taught here. I know all of the things that sold were material items. I'll have to rely on my own memories in my mind. Oh, and I have yearbooks from the years I taught here. On with another day...
