The Kid

September 14, 2005 / by bighart

Well the kid finally showed up last night and paid me the money he owed. I really didn't talk to him. Told him I heard he had a "good time" Sat. night. He must remember, that even tho he doesn't tell us much, we still hear about it. The joys of living in a small town!! My husband got a white-tail doe last night with a black powder rifle. I didn't even ask him what he did with it. I don't want to know. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. Oh, especially when it comes to your kid. Yesterday I was sad about quitting my job. Last night I got an e-mail from my supervisor and she asked that I return the kitchen key. That's it. That's all she cares about? So I do believe the saying about your job and how quickly you can be replaced. I'm just one more person to walk through that place. Everyone can be replaced no matter what you do. That's scary. So if I die, my husband can replace me? Nah, I'm one in a million and he knows it!!!

I know it must have been a hard decision to quit, but you'll be glad in the end. More time at home, with the kids, for your self, it will be great. And yes, your husband can't replace you, how can you replace the best? Take Care, Cindy

I'm sure you will be missed by the important ones.the oldies that you cooked for.
any chance you can bend the kitchen key.jest so they have a tad of trouble inserting it.

Kind of reminds me of an incident that happened with hubby's job. One of their workers died on father's day and was using the Company vehicle and here the family is griefing and the Company makes my husband and another worker go get the vehicle right after the family just told them about the death of an employee. He felt like an idiot going to the house for a dam truck. At least he said he stayed for a bit so at least he didn't just get the keys and run.

Speaking of keys and attitudes: I once cleaned the church I attended and was amember for many years. When I stopped going, the pastor's wife called me for the key to the church. Did not say one word about why I left or anything.
