I'm The Better Person

September 18, 2005 / by bighart

I went to church today. The minister or the minister's wife did not speak (by the the way she had a dress on with an L.A. hat) Ex girlfriend who befriended me and is now big time friends with the minister's wife. Well, the list goes on. I'm thinking why am I trying to get along. Am I paranoid or being super sensative? You know the saying about paybacks? Well, they better hang on, because I can do it. They all think there shit don't stink! I know mine doesn't. All, I will tell you is that they better hang on to their ass.

I enjoy reading your blogs about your church, the minister's wife, etc. We just got rid of a minister and his wife never spoke to hardly anybody in the 3 years they were here. What a snob and sorry to say the minister was kind of an oddball. We got a new one first of July and so far everything is going well, he gives a good sermon and his wife is very friendly. Hopefully things will go smoothly.

I believe you are the one with the God-like complex and that is very dangerous indeed. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Bragging on how much clout your name has. How about how much clout the name of Jesus has? How about how the rest of the congregation feels and not just you and your ego feel?

You seem mistaken. No jealousy here hun. I would never take it upon myself to want the kind of control that you seek. I leave things like that in God's hands.

No matter if I agree with what you are doing or not we continue to be sister's in Christ.

oi.I didn't think you were allowed `paybacks' in church. LOL.
now I must read back to find out exactly what the minister did or didn't do.
    cheers. ;)
